Katie Gallo, BA, MS
Katie began her career at a boutique public relations agency in New York City, while earning her master's in nonprofit management from The New School. Her nonprofit career began at the national office for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and then she went on to a senior marketing role at Continuum Health Partners (now Mt. Sinai). Prior to founding Daydream Communications, Katie was a digital marketing specialist at Silver Hill Hospital, a renowned psychiatric and addiction treatment facility in New Canaan, Connecticut.

About Katie
Katie is a lifelong dreamer fueled by creativity and a passion for making a difference. She is a recognized leader in behavioral health and public health marketing with nearly two decades of experience. Before founding her business, she served as a senior marketing manager for the psychiatry, addiction, and neuroscience service lines at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City and later managed digital marketing for Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT.
Under Katie’s leadership, Daydream Communications has become a leading force in behavioral health marketing in Connecticut and beyond, producing two award-winning campaigns, one of which was presented nationally.
Katie’s passion and dedication to this field are unparalleled. She serves as a board member for the NAMI Southwest Connecticut chapter and is an active presenter for NAMI Connecticut’s “In Our Own Voice” program. Additionally, she is a member of the Adult Behavioral Health Planning Council for the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and media sector representative for The Norwalk Partnership, a community prevention coalition.
In her free time, Katie enjoys painting colorful landscapes, writing, wandering in New York City, and traveling as much as possible.
