About the Role
Daydream Communications is seeking a part-time marketing communications assistant who will collaborate directly with the founder to produce a variety of digital content.
This position offers a very flexible schedule. It is fully remote and there are no set hours, but you must be able to complete tasks by a set deadline. Hours may vary, but on average you will need to work 10 - 15 hours per week to complete assigned projects.

Social Media
Review news articles to find relevant content for client social media posts
Draft social media posts that will be published on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Create graphics to accompany posts using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
Schedule approved posts
Monitor for comments
Blog Posts
Research the assigned blog post topic and develop an outline for the post
Draft complete blog post once outline is approved
Upload to client website upon approval
Client Reports
Compile and analyze data using a social media analytics tool and Google Analytics
Write a short summary of the data for a monthly client report
Input the data into a Google spreadsheet
Additional responsibilities include client website edits, topic research and content development for other projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or public relations
Minimum 1 year of experience in the field
Excellent writing skills are a must; ability to adapt writing style and tone for different audiences
In-depth knowledge of social media
Ability to create graphics for social media using Canva or Adobe
Experience creating Google spreadsheets and presentations
Interest in working with nonprofit and/or healthcare clients, particularly mental health and substance use prevention organizations
Strong organizational skills, attentive to detail and ability to adhere to deadlines
